After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic tour of the Square of the Three Cultures, a powerful symbol of Mexico’s layered history, representing the Aztec, colonial, and modern eras. Here, visit the Church of Tlatelolco and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, standing on the very site of the final battle between the Aztecs and the Spaniards.
Continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of Latin America’s most sacred pilgrimage sites. Marvel at the miraculous image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, said to have appeared on Juan Diego’s cloak in 1531. Visit both the modern basilica and the old church at the foot of Tepeyac Hill, where faith and legend intertwine.
