You will be picked up two hours before your train departure and transferred to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board one of the most scenic rail routes in Peru. Enjoy the breathtaking journey through the Sacred Valley as you travel toward Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Ascent to Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, board the shuttle bus for a 30-minute ascent, climbing nearly 400 meters along a winding mountain road. At the end of the route lies one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological marvels — the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, also known as the Lost City of the Incas.
