Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly met by our local representative and transferred in a private vehicle to the historic Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel — a landmark property that has welcomed travelers since 1904. Surrounded by tropical gardens and rich colonial-era charm, the Norfolk offers the perfect start to your luxury Kenya safari.
Take time to relax after your journey, enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace, or unwind by the pool before your evening welcome dinner featuring fine Kenyan and international cuisine.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your 10:00 AM flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy the 45-minute scenic journey over the Great Rift Valley, with its dramatic escarpments and patchwork of savannah and acacia woodland.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your expert safari guide and driven to Instinct of the Mara, an exclusive boutique camp set in a private conservancy on the edge of the world-famous reserve. Settle into your luxurious tented suite and relax before a freshly prepared lunch.
In the afternoon, set out on your first thrilling game drive through the Masai Mara — a landscape alive with wildlife. Watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, and herds of wildebeest, as the golden light paints the plains at sunset. Return to camp in the evening to enjoy a gourmet dinner beneath a canopy of stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African night.
Spend the next two full days on safari in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most legendary wilderness areas. This pristine landscape of rolling plains, acacia woodlands, and dramatic skies offers some of the finest game viewing on the continent.
Led by your expert guide from Instinct of the Mara, set out at dawn and again in the late afternoon when the bush is most alive. Each day promises new encounters — elephants grazing on the savannah, lions resting in the shade, leopards draped in the branches of acacia trees, and great herds of buffalo and antelope roaming the open plains.
The Masai Mara’s abundant birdlife adds vibrant color and sound to your drives, while the thrill of spotting all members of the “Big Five” — lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino — in a single morning remains an unforgettable highlight.
Return to camp for elegant bush breakfasts, al fresco lunches, and starlit dinners around the fire, sharing the day’s stories with your guide as the nocturnal sounds of the African wilderness surround you.
Enjoy a leisurely morning in the Masai Mara, perhaps with a final early game drive or relaxed breakfast overlooking the plains. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for your 2:00 PM flight to Mombasa, taking in the sweeping views as the golden savannah gives way to the sparkling Indian Ocean.
Upon arrival around 4:00 PM, you’ll be met by our local representative and driven for approximately one hour along the scenic coastal road to Cardamom House, your elegant beachfront hideaway nestled between forest and sea.
Arrive in time to settle into your suite, relax, and freshen up before dinner. Enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars, lulled by the sound of the ocean.
