Our first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jvari Monastery, a stunning 6th-century cross-shaped structure perched atop a cliff, offering panoramic views of the river confluence. It was here that St. Nino, the female evangelist, placed a large wooden cross on the site of an ancient pagan temple. Next, we visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a fortified masterpiece dating back to the 11th century. This sacred site is believed to house the Robe of Christ, making it a place of immense spiritual significance.
