Chisinau is the country’s main tourist destination, with beautiful Orthodox churches, museums and parks offering free wi-fi – a real life saver to any traveller. Locals call it the White Stone Flower, as many of the older building are of white limestone. Although Chisinau suffered two World Wars, the city saved its beauty with buildings designed by famous Russian architects, such as Bernardazzi and Sciusev. During the city tour we will get familiar with the local history, culture, architecture, and everyday life.

Transfer to Brasov via Sinaia and visit Peles Castle
Sinaia – city in a mountainous area on the Prahova River valley, just east of the Bucegi Mountains. The city is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports, especially downhill skiing. Among the tourist landmarks, the most important are Peles Castle, Pelișor Castle, Sinaia Monastery, Sinaia Casino, Sinaia train station.

Peles Castle, Former Home of the Romanian Royal Family -who spent time here every year, usually from May to November. Here were held important political meetings, even during the First World War. It’s a unique construction – one of the most important monuments of its kind in 19th century Europe.

Arrival in Brasov, walking tour of the old town will bring you closer to the old Market’s Square, the Black Church, the Rope street and on the small streets of the old medieval town. Find out about the fortification system of the old town, the citadel and the First Romanian School. The Medieval Town of Brasov has an interesting history to reveal to the visitors.

Today we visit Dracula’s Castle in Bran and then we head for Sighisoara, a marvelous medieval citadel, still inhabited today.

We drive towards Bucovina region with en route stop for lunch on own.

In the evening arrive in Voronet and visit the monastery

We visit Sucevita and Moldovita painted monasteries and the we drive to the region of Maramures.. In the evening visit Barsana Monastery

We visit  the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta and Sapanta Monastery

In the afternoon drive to Cluj. Evening walking tour in Cluj Old Town.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. We continue towards Sibiu, with stops to see Alba Iulia citadel and Hunyad Castle, two beautiful historical sites.

Morning walking tour of Sibiu Old town. In the afternoon drive to Bucharest with a stop at Curtea de Arges for a visit of the monastery. Arrival in Bucharest in the evening
