Itineraries Of The Day

Arrive at Odesa International Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel. Proceed with check-in (standard time: 15:00).
In the evening, enjoy a panoramic walking tour of Odesa’s historic city center, discovering its charming streets, architecture, and seaside atmosphere.
After the tour, enjoy free time to experience the vibrant evening city and relax before tomorrow’s program.

A city by the sea has always been a source of inspiration for artists—and Odesa is no exception. Painters from around the world continue to visit this vibrant coastal city to capture its unique atmosphere. Today, you will explore Odesa’s impressive collection of urban murals—huge artistic canvases painted on the facades of residential buildings.
Admire the brooding Horse, the melancholic Last Seal, the Old Man weaving a fishing net, the Boatswain with a parrot, and, of course, Odesa’s famous cats. These murals were created by talented artists from the USA, Australia, Spain, and other countries, making this open-air gallery a must-see for lovers of contemporary art.

The second part of today’s program takes you deep underground on an exciting tour of the Odesa Catacombs. This experience can truly be called an immersion into mystery. What makes the catacombs so exceptional? The answer is simple—everything:

A Cold War–era underground bunker with 4th-degree protection and capacity for 1,200 people.
A cemetery of petrified animals, dating back an average of 3.5 million years.
Underground lakes inhabited by small species unknown to modern biology.
The opportunity to try 19th-century quarry tools used by stone workers of the past.
Secret hideouts once used by Moldavanka’s legendary raiders.
A preserved station of Odesa’s most secret partisan detachment, which perished in this very section of the catacombs.
And believe it or not—this is still not the full list of the catacombs’ hidden wonders.

During the day, you will also enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can taste authentic Odesa cuisine and relax before continuing your adventure.

Today’s program features three major highlights, showcasing the history, flavour, and craftsmanship of the Odesa region.
