After breakfast transfer along the exciting 25 Serpentine Road to Lovcen mountain and national park for a visit. The biggest and most important monument of Lovcen National Park is the mausoleum of Montenegrin Prince Bishop, poet and national hero, Petar II. Petrovic Njegos. The location for his burial place and the mausoleum at the summit of Jezerski vrh was chosen by Njegos himself as his last wish and is the highest located mausoleum in the world.
Continue to Njegusi village for a visit. It is best known as the birthplace of the Petrovic dynasty, which ruled Montenegro from 1696 to 1918. The village is also significant for its well-preserved traditional folk architecture.
Proceed to Cetinje for a visit, a historical capital of Montenegro with the official residence of their President. Cetinje is a town of immense historical heritage, founded in the 15th century. It became the centre of Montenegrin life and both a cradle of Montenegrin and Serbian Orthodox religious centre.
On the way back visit the old town of Budva, Montenegro’s main tourist centre, where you will visit the old town. The secret of the city’s popularity rests mainly on its beautiful, mostly sandy coastline, diverse nightlife and examples of Mediterranean architecture.

After breakfast embark on a private tour and enjoy the bay, passing charming fisherman’s villages and venture into the famous Yugoslavian military tunnels, where ships and submarines were once hidden. Visit Blue Cave where you can enjoy swimming. Continuing the tour, you’ll pass by the Lastavica Island. Located right at the entrance into the Boka Bay, the circular fortress-hotel on the island looks like something out of a movie but was once a very real prison. Visit Perast, a charming, stunning, idyllic, breathtaking old town, which cannot be fully experienced without a visit to its unique island Our Lady of the Rocks.

The Montenegrin part of the lake and its surrounding area were declared a national park in 1983. The Albanian part has been designated as a Managed Nature Reserve. It is one of the largest bird reserves in Europe. Private boat tour and national park entrance fee are included in the tour.

After breakfast you will drive to Ostrog Monastery, a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church situated against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroska Greda. It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog, who was buried here. Ostrog monastery is the most popular pilgrimage place in Montenegro.
Continue to Podgorica for a visit, the capital of Montenegro. Podgorica’s favourable position at the confluence of rivers Ribnica and Moraca and the meeting point of the fertile Zeta Plain and Bjelopavlici Valley, has encouraged settlement for centuries. It has many examples of Turkish architecture, and it is home to three main religious groups: Orthodox Christians, Sunnite Muslims and Catholic Christians.
