Upon your arrival to Opatija you will first have lunch at JRE Restaurant and afterwards a guided visit of Opatija. Opatija is a charming small town in Istria. Beautiful nature, green parks, old Austrian villas, seaside promenade and beaches have attracted tourists from Europe and world for more than 160 years. Continue to Rovinj, one of the most ‘photogenic’ towns in the Adriatic. The entire coastline, with its twenty-two islands is an area of protected natural heritage. A visitor can feel the enchantment of the town in its narrow medieval streets and warm Mediterranean setting. The main Church of St. Euphemia keeps relics of the saint and presents one of the most beautiful baroque achievements in Istria.

After breakfast drive to Pula, the largest city in Istria and due to its historical charm the most interesting destination for tourists. The most important and attractive buildings are found in the city centre, and the largest is surely the Roman amphitheatre, the famous “Arena” where gladiators used to perform.
After visit of Pula, you will visit the Museum of Olive Oils, where you’ll learn about the basics of olive oil production in Istria.
Afterward, sample three of the finest olive oils, paired with snacks.
Later, join an Istrian olive oil producer at his olive grove to try world-class olive oils while learning about the trees, the oil, and its uses.
Return to Rovinj and dinner at a local restaurant

After breakfast you will first have activity Istrian black truffle hunt with gnocchi cooking class. Before the activity hear the most important and most interesting information about truffles: types of truffles, how they grow in nature, how to search for them… After the introduction you will go on a truffle hunt. With trained truffle dogs and an escort guide go into private family woods to hunt Istrian underground treasure. Once back, you will help to prepare home-made gnocchi with truffles, from kneading a dough to grating truffles.
Proceed to Motovun for a visit. Motovun is the most famous and attractive Istrian medieval town. This captivating hilltop town represents one of the characteristic symbols of the Istrian interior. Motovun is also surrounded by vineyards from which the finest Istrian wines, white wine Malvasia and red wine Teran, are produced.
Continue with tasting of Istrian brandies at a local distillery.

After breakfast and check out you will drive to Lim channel for a boat excursion and an oyster degustation. Lim channel is one of the most beautiful natural sights of the Istrian peninsula. It is a little bit longer than 10 kilometers, it is 30 meters deep and its widest part is around 600 meters wide. From both sides very steep mountains rise, in some parts even up to 100 meters.
Continue to Porec for a visit. Its major landmark is the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Porec’s heritage can be seen in the historic town centre, in museums and galleries hosted in houses and palaces, many of them still private homes as they have been for centuries.
You will also visit a well-known cheese producer whose cheese bears the unique signature of the Istrian land. This farm produces exclusively hard cheeses because they are the true heirs of the Istrian dairy tradition. Tasting is also included in the visit.

After breakfast you will first visit Piran, a typical Mediterranean town characterised by the lovely St. Georges Church and square, named after Piran’s most famous citizen, musician Giuseppe Tartini.
Continue to Fonda sea bass farm for a visit and a culinary workshop. Family owned company Fonda was established due to their love for the sea and fish and their basic guideline in setting up the fish farm was that that the fish must live in a pleasant environment, which was supported by Ugo Fonda‘s knowledge in the field of marine biology and nutrition.
Culinary workshop at Fonda will give you all the knowledge one needs to become an expert at preparing fish and other seafood. You will learn cooking and preparing techniques that can be easily repeated at home: preparing and filleting a fish, a secret of fish soup, preparing mussels (in season only!), seafood pasta, raw fish dishes and some other special recipes. You will also learn the tricky art of how to tell if a fish is fresh, essentials as how best to clean, freeze and store your fish, and a whole host of others.

After breakfast drive to Skocjan cave, a unique natural phenomenon, the creation of the river Reka which springs from below the Sneznik plateau and flows some fifty-five kilometres on the surface. Because of their unique natural features and cultural heritage Skocjan caves have been on the UNESCO world heritage list since 1986.
After the visit of the cave, continue with a visit of small boutique prosciutteria, where a centuries-old tradition, procedures and experiences have been preserved. The experience is enriched by tasting various prosciuttos in the company of cheeses from local producer and home-made bread.
Proceed to Lipica stud farm, the cradle of the Lipizzaner horse. For over four centuries, the Lipica stud farm has nurtured the tradition of breeding and selecting thoroughbred horses.
