Itineraries Of The Day

After arrival at Venice Airport, your private transfer will take you directly to the Lipica Stud Farm, the birthplace of the world-famous Lipizzaner horse. For over 400 years, Lipica has nurtured the tradition of breeding and training these majestic thoroughbreds, making it one of the most iconic horse-breeding centers in Europe.

Continue to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s charming capital and the “Green Capital of a Green Country.” This lively, cosmopolitan city lies at the very heart of Slovenia and blends a 3,000-year-old history shaped by Roman, Medieval, and Austrian influences with a modern, youthful energy. Stroll through its picturesque streets, discover its riverside cafés, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.

Check into your hotel and end the day with a welcome dinner in Ljubljana.

Overnight in Ljubljana

After breakfast, set off on a culinary walking tour of Ljubljana, exploring the medieval heart of Slovenia’s capital. Guided by a local expert, you’ll stroll through cobblestone streets and stop at several authentic venues to taste traditional and modern Slovenian cuisine. Share dishes and stories while passing some of Ljubljana’s most famous landmarks, gaining an insider’s perspective on local life.

Next, take the cable car up to Ljubljana Castle, perched above the Old Town. From its medieval walls, enjoy panoramic views over the city and surrounding hills while learning about its fascinating history.

Overnight in Ljubljana

After breakfast, set out for Lake Bohinj, the sparkling jewel of Triglav National Park. Surrounded by towering peaks, green forests, and alpine meadows, this pristine lake combines natural beauty with cultural and historical heritage. Take a cable car up Mount Vogel to 1,535 m and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Julian Alps.

After free time for lunch, continue to Bled, a picture-postcard alpine town once beloved by the Austro-Hungarian elite. Glide across the lake on a traditional Pletna boat, handcrafted by locals since 1590, to visit Bled Island and its charming church. Then explore Bled Castle, perched dramatically on a 130 m cliff, offering sweeping views of the lake and countryside.

On your return to Ljubljana, stop at Radovljica, a small medieval town with enchanting streets and timeless character.

After breakfast and check-out, depart Ljubljana toward Croatian Istria, with exciting stops along the way.

Your first highlight is the world-famous Postojna Cave, Slovenia’s largest cave system. Board the underground electric train and embark on a 90-minute journey through its breathtaking chambers, stalactites, and stalagmites—a true natural wonder.

Just 30 minutes away lies Predjama Castle, dramatically perched on a vertical cliff. Explore its fascinating history and hidden passages with your included entrance.

Cross into Croatia and make a short stop in Grožnjan, a hilltop town known as the “Town of Artists.” Nestled 228 meters above the Mirna Valley, Grožnjan charms with its medieval streets, cultural heritage, and art studios.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Brijuni Islands National Park, a jewel of the Istrian coast. This archipelago of two larger islands and 12 smaller islets lies just northwest of Pula, offering a rare blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
