This six-day tour begins with an airport transfer and a city tour of Quito, where you will explore key landmarks and visit the Middle of the World monument. Next, you will fly to the Galapagos Islands, where you will discover lava tunnels, a tortoise reserve, and the Charles Darwin Research Station. You will then visit Tortuga Bay Beach and embark on a yacht tour to observe the diverse marine life. Continuing your adventure, you will enjoy a yacht excursion to one of four islands: Seymour, Plazas, Bartolome, or Floreana. The journey concludes with a transfer to Baltra Airport.

Itineraries Of The Day

Upon arrival at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) in Quito, you will be warmly greeted by your local assistant and transferred in comfort to your hotel in the city center. Take the evening to rest and begin acclimating to the altitude of the Andean capital, set at 2,850 meters above sea level.

Overnight in Quito

After breakfast, set out on a panoramic city tour of Quito, Ecuador’s vibrant capital. Begin with the modern districts, including the financial and banking areas, bustling shopping centers, and the lively La Mariscal neighborhood.

Next, continue to Quito’s historic center, recognized as the first UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved colonial architecture. Highlights include:

El Panecillo Hill with its panoramic views of the city and the iconic Virgin of Quito statue.
San Francisco Church, one of the city’s oldest monasteries.
Independence Square (Plaza Grande), surrounded by the Cathedral, Government Palace, and Archbishop’s Palace.
The ornate La Compañía de Jesús Church, a masterpiece of baroque architecture covered in gold leaf.
In the afternoon, travel north to the “Middle of the World City” (Ciudad Mitad del Mundo), where you can straddle the equator line with one foot in each hemisphere. Explore the monument and interactive exhibits that highlight Ecuador’s unique geographic position.

Return to your hotel in the evening.

Overnight in Quito

This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight from Quito to the Galápagos Islands. Upon arrival at Baltra Airport (GPS), meet your local guide and transfer to the Itabaca Channel, crossing by public ferry to reach Santa Cruz Island. Continue by road to Puerto Ayora, the island’s main town.

Begin your adventure with a tour of Santa Cruz’s unique landscapes and wildlife:

Walk through fascinating lava tunnels, formed by ancient volcanic activity.
Visit a giant tortoise reserve, where these iconic creatures roam freely in their natural habitat.

Morning:

Its white sand shores, surrounded by lush mangroves, create a peaceful haven where you can walk, swim, or simply relax while observing marine iguanas, shorebirds, and sometimes sea turtles in the shallow waters.

Afternoon:
Embark on a yacht excursion for a bay tour around Santa Cruz Island. Highlights include:

The Canal del Amor, a tranquil channel where you may spot reef sharks and a variety of marine life.
A guided walk to Playa de los Perros, known for its colonies of marine iguanas basking on the rocks.
A visit to Punta Estrada, where coastal scenery and wildlife encounters make for memorable photo opportunities.

Arrive at Baltra Airport (GPS) for your flight to Guayaquil or Quito, connecting with your international departure.
