Itineraries Of The Day

Upon arrival at El Alto International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in La Paz. Take the rest of the day to relax and adjust to the altitude, or enjoy a first stroll through the city at your own pace.

Overnight in La Paz.

Set out on a scenic journey to Copacabana, crossing the Tiquina Strait by motorboat. In Copacabana, visit the town and its beautiful basilica before continuing across Lake Titicaca by private boat to the southern part of Isla del Sol. Here, explore fascinating pre-Columbian sites such as the Yumani staircase, the Inca fountain of eternal youth, and the Pillkocaina Palace.

Enjoy a traditional Apthapi lunch on the island before returning to La Paz in the evening.

Fly or transfer to Uyuni, then check in at your hotel before starting your exploration of the world’s largest salt flat. Begin with a visit to the eerie Train Cemetery, where rusting locomotives tell stories of Bolivia’s industrial past. Continue to Colchani village, known for its artisan salt market, and see impressive salt mounds and natural saltwater springs.

Marvel at iconic landmarks such as the Dakar Rally Monument and the World Flags Plaza. Visit the famous Salt Hotel and enjoy lunch—either at its unique museum-restaurant or as a picnic on the salt flat itself.

In the afternoon, venture to Incahuasi Island, a rocky outcrop covered with giant cacti, offering spectacular 360° views over the endless white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni.

Overnight in Uyuni.

Today, discover the mining heritage and natural wonders of the Bolivian Altiplano. Begin with a visit to Pulacayo, once a thriving silver-mining town, where you can see the historic train famously linked to the 1908 Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid robbery.

Continue across the rugged highland landscapes, observing the unique flora and fauna of the Altiplano, before arriving in Tomave, known for its impressive colonial church. From here, head to the nearby hot springs, where mineral-rich waters at around 35 °C invite you to relax.

The journey continues to the colorful lagoons, including the emerald-green Warmy Kasilla and the deep-blue Orqo Kasilla, set against striking mountain backdrops. A picnic-style lunch is served along the route.

In the late afternoon, return to Uyuni and transfer to your hotel.
