This five-day tour of Mexico City begins with an airport transfer and hotel check-in. You will explore the Teotihuacan archaeological zone, visit Reforma Avenue, Chapultepec Forest, the historic center, and an artisan market. The following day, you will visit the Square of the Three Cultures and the Basilica of Guadalupe, with the afternoon free to enjoy at your leisure. Later, you will experience the canals of Xochimilco, learn about the Day of the Dead altars, and visit the cemetery in San Antonio Tecomitl. The journey concludes with a transfer to the airport for your departure.

Itineraries Of The Day

Upon your arrival at Mexico city’s international airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel.

Overnight in Mexico city.

Admire the San Juan of Teotihuacan archaeological zone, including the pyramid of the Sun, the pyramid of the Moon, the avenue of the dead, and the temple of Quetzalcoatl (the Feathered Serpent). Continue with a panoramic tour of Reforma Promenade avenue, where you will see monuments such as the aztec Tlatoani Cuauhtemoc and the Angel of Independence. Then proceed to the historic Chapultepec forest and nearby residential areas, where you can admire the homes of famous individuals. The tour continues to the historic center, where you will explore the Metropolitan cathedral, the main square, the Government Palace (exterior view), and the archaeological ruins of the aztec main temple. End with a visit to the artisan market to experience the folklore of mexican crafts. Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Mexico City.

Visit the square of the Three Cultures, a symbolic site showcasing the country’s three eras: pre-hispanic, colonial, and modern. Then, visit the Basilica of Guadalupe to see Mexico’s patroness. Return to the hotel, and enjoy a free afternoon.

Travel to the southern part of the city to visit a family home in the Xochimilco area, where you will learn about the meaning of the offering and the creation of the altar for the Day of the Dead (celebrated on November 2nd). Next, head to the Nuevo Nativitas Pier in Xochimilco, known as the “Place of Flowers,” a world-renowned attraction for its uniqueness. Discover the chinampas, an ancient and highly productive agricultural technique used by the Xochimilca people, which involves creating artificial islands on the lake. Enjoy a boat ride through the charming canals. Conclude with a visit to the town of San Antonio Tecomitl. Explore the town’s cemetery, walk among the graves, and admire the earth sculptures adorned with cempasuchil flowers. Return to the hotel.

On the final day, transfer to Mexico city’s international airport to board your departure flight.
