Itineraries Of The Day

On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred by road to Cresta Maun, where you will enjoy your one-night stay on a bed & breakfast basis. Take this time to relax, settle in, and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead in Botswana’s wilderness.

After a hearty breakfast, board a scenic charter flight from Maun to Khwai Airstrip, where the enchanting Machaba Camp awaits. Settle in for two nights of luxury with all-inclusive comforts.

As the sun begins to set, embark on your first thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, lions, and countless bird species before returning for a magical dinner under the stars.

About Machaba Camp
Located in the wildlife-rich Khwai area of the Okavango Delta, Machaba Camp perfectly blends colonial safari elegance with unspoiled nature. Wake to hippos wallowing in the nearby waters, watch passing wildlife from your private veranda, and enjoy evenings filled with gourmet dining.

Your spacious tent offers en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and luxurious touches — an authentic safari experience where comfort meets the wild.

Wake up surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness and prepare for a full-day safari adventure. After breakfast, your expert guides will take you on unforgettable game drives exploring the river systems and floodplains around camp.

Morning and afternoon/evening drives (each about 3 hours) offer the chance to spot large predators, impressive elephant and buffalo herds, and a wide variety of plains game. In the evening, venture out on a night drive, where spotlights reveal elusive nocturnal species and smaller creatures of the bush.

After a day filled with breathtaking encounters, return to Machaba Camp for dinner under the stars and an overnight stay in your luxury tented suite.

The Experience
At Machaba, every safari moment is tailored to immerse you in the richness of the Okavango Delta. Whether it’s the thrill of seeing a lion hunt at dawn or quietly watching hippos wallow at dusk, you’ll experience the magic of Africa up close — in comfort and style.

After breakfast, take a scenic light aircraft flight from Khwai Airstrip to Kiri Airstrip, where the breathtaking Kiri Camp awaits. Your next two nights will be spent in this pristine private concession of the Okavango Delta, with an all-inclusive luxury stay.

The Adventure
At Kiri, you’ll experience the best of both land and water safaris. Glide silently in a mokoro canoe among blooming lilies and reeds (water levels permitting) or cruise by motorboat during peak flood season. On land, thrilling game drives reveal lions, buffalo, elephants, and—if you’re lucky—the elusive African wild dog.

The Magic
As the sun sets, return to camp for a gourmet dinner under the stars, surrounded by the symphony of the Delta at night. From the comfort of your elegant tented suite, you’ll feel truly immersed in one of the world’s most extraordinary ecosystems.

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush and set off on an early morning game drive, when wildlife activity is at its peak. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast and some time to relax before heading out again in the late afternoon.

Game Drives
Each safari lasts around three hours and takes you deep into the river systems and floodplains surrounding camp. The area is teeming with wildlife—expect encounters with elephants, buffalo, lions, and other predators, along with countless plains animals.

Evening & Night Safaris
As the sun sets, your evening drive reveals the bush in a whole new light. Once darkness falls, spotlight night drives offer the rare chance to see nocturnal creatures such as civets, genets, bushbabies, and perhaps even a prowling leopard.

Dinner Under the Stars
Back at camp, enjoy a delicious dinner beneath the starlit African sky before retiring to your luxury tent for another unforgettable overnight stay in the wild.
