Arrive at Kigali International Airport. You will meet our airport executive that will assist you through the formalities. Later hand you over to your driver for a Transfer to your accommodation.

Head for a morning Kigali city tour where you will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum and the Nyamirambo Women center with a local market. Have lunch at one of the historical hotels. Thereafter, drive to Akagera National Park. Have a night game drive in the park.

Have a morning game drive in the park. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Sail along the water edge which is covered with several trees, drift past numerous giant hippos and see several crocodiles some in the shallows of the water and other basking on the shore.

Scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park that protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare Mountain Gorilla. Have lunch in Kigali at one of the local restaurants before continuing to the park. Evening visit to the Dian Fossey Museum.

Today our day begins with an early – 06:30 am – drive to the Volcanoes National Park offices for Gorilla Trekking. The high point of our day will be spending an hour with gorillas as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting, and raising their young.

Afternoon visit to the Iby’Iwachu Cultural Village

Head further South to Nyungwe Forest National Park via Kibuye road while enjoying stunning scenic views of Lake Kivu. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge with an evening relaxation or opt to visit one of the tea plantations and learn about how tea is planted, harvested and proceed for consumption.

This is a highlight of your visit to the Nyungwe Forest with chimpanzee trekking. A rustle of leaves, and then, through the branches, you will spot a chimpanzee gazing down from the fig trees.

Afternoon enjoy a canopy walk on a suspension that is 50 meters high above the forest floor.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kigali via Butare the second largest town of Rwanda which hosts the Rwanda National Museum. You will have a stopover for the visit and lunch. Proceed to Kigali where you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight back home.
