After breakfast, transfer to Nairobi Railway Station to board your early morning train to Tsavo. As you pass through Tsavo’s iconic red soils and rugged terrain, the four-hour journey to Voi offers unforgettable views that set the stage for the adventure ahead.

Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your accommodation at Kipalo Hills. Settle in over a delicious lunch before taking time to relax and soak in the panoramic views from the slopes of the Mbulia Hills, overlooking the vast plains of Tsavo, the rugged Ngulia Hills, and, on a clear day, the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Today, embark on a full-day safari through the spectacular landscapes of Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks, which together form Kenya’s largest protected wilderness, spanning nearly 4% of the country’s land area. Journey across an ever-changing landscape of volcanic hills, rugged escarpments, open savannahs, and the iconic red-earth plains that make Tsavo so distinctive. With your private safari vehicle, you also get to enjoy the freedom of exploring at your own leisurely pace while searching for the park’s remarkable wildlife, including lion, giraffe, elephant, Zebra and an extraordinary diversity of bird species.

Upon arrival in Mombasa, you’ll be met and transferred to your beach resort. Your coastal retreat awaits at Cardamom House, a unique and refined sanctuary built directly by the ocean offering spectacular views, a pool built into the coral and a lounge on the roof terrace from where you can enjoy colourful sunsets.

Kenya’s coast was designed for leisure and pure relaxation, so take all the time you need to unwind on golden beaches and turquoise waters, treat yourself to a rejuvenating aromatherapy session, or enjoy a quiet, refreshing swim at your hotel. However, if you are eager to explore, Mombasa offers a wealth of discoveries (at an extra cost)—from Haller Park, where giraffes and hippos roam freely, to Arabuko Sokoke Forest, alive with elephants, butterflies and diverse birdlife or Mamba Village for a close-up encounter with crocodiles. For ocean adventurers who wish to stay active and venture beyond the shoreline, an exciting array of water sports awaits, including jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, kitesurfing, and scuba diving which the hotel management can assist in arranging.
