Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Liberty Africa Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, allowing time to relax after your journey and to familiarize yourself with Kenya’s vibrant capital city. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to enjoy the hotel’s facilities or take an optional excursion (at an extra cost) to one of Nairobi’s renowned attractions, such as the Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen Museum or the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Elephant Orphanage.

You will be staying at the Sarova Panafric, gracefully set in a quiet residential suburb with sweeping views of Nairobi’s skyline. The hotel offers a tranquil retreat, blending contemporary comforts, state-of-the-art facilities, and warm Kenyan hospitality.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Following an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, enjoying scenic viewpoints before continuing towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short period of relaxation before setting out on your first afternoon game drive across the reserve’s vast golden plains. Your safari getaway will be at the luxurious Mara Maisha tented camp—just a few minutes from Talek Gate, offering easy access to the reserve. Immerse yourself in warm hospitality and the calming rhythms of the Mara for an unforgettable retreat.

During the Great Migration season, you will get to witness one of nature’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacles as immense herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles make their perilous journey across the Mara ecosystem, closely pursued by predators including lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

After an exhilarating game drive, return to your lodge as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the vast savannah in warm amber hues and revealing the breathtaking beauty of the evening sky.

Dinner and overnight will be at your safari lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day safari exploring the diverse landscapes of the Masai Mara.

Today’s adventure focuses on maximizing your chances of witnessing the dramatic Great Migration River crossings along the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras’ brave powerful currents and lurking Nile crocodiles in one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles.

Your experienced guide will carefully track wildlife movements throughout the day, taking you to the most rewarding game viewing areas while sharing fascinating insights into animal behaviour, the migration cycle and the unique ecology of the Mara. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drives in search of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs and prides of lions resting beneath acacia trees.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon, where you may choose to unwind in your tent or enjoy the lodge’s facilities before making your way to the restaurant for your final dinner in the Mara.

Dinner and overnight will be at your safari lodge.

Wake to the peaceful sounds of the Mara and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, taking in your final moments in this remarkable wilderness.

For an unforgettable finale, you may choose to begin the day with an early morning hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara (at an additional cost), drifting silently above the golden plains as the first light of sunrise reveals the vast savannah below. Upon landing, celebrate the experience with a memorable champagne bush breakfast.

After check-out, begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi, watching the landscapes shift from open plains and rolling hills to the vibrant rhythm of the city.
