Your day begins early, with a 06:30 AM transfer to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters for a briefing on your Gorilla Trekking adventure.
Accompanied by expert rangers, venture into the mist-covered rainforest in search of the majestic Mountain Gorillas.

The highlight of the day is spending a magical one hour with a gorilla family—observing them as they feed, play, rest, and care for their young. This intimate and unforgettable encounter is one of the world’s most profound wildlife experiences.

In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village, where you will immerse yourself in Rwanda’s vibrant culture. Engage with local communities, learn traditional skills, and enjoy dance, music, and storytelling that celebrate Rwanda’s rich heritage.

Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, drive back to Kigali for a guided visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial—a solemn and significant site dedicated to the memory of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The memorial offers a powerful and educational insight into Rwanda’s history, resilience, and journey toward healing.
