Overnight in Mexico City.

After breakfast, set out on a full-day journey to uncover the grandeur of ancient and modern Mexico. Begin at the magnificent Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone, once one of the world’s largest cities and home to the mysterious Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Walk along the Avenue of the Dead and admire the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (Feathered Serpent), all while learning about the rich cultural legacy of this pre-Hispanic metropolis.

Continue with a panoramic tour of Reforma Avenue, one of Mexico City’s most iconic boulevards. Along the way, admire famous landmarks such as the Monument to Cuauhtémoc, honoring the last Aztec ruler, and the majestic Angel of Independence, a national symbol of pride and liberty.

Next, explore the lush Chapultepec Forest, a sprawling green sanctuary surrounded by elegant residential areas, where you can glimpse the stately homes of some of Mexico’s most notable figures.

The tour then takes you to the historic center, where history and architecture come alive. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, admire the Zócalo (Main Square), and view the Government Palace and the archaeological remains of the Aztec Main Temple (Templo Mayor).

Conclude your day with a visit to a lively artisan market, where you can experience the vibrant folklore of Mexican craftsmanship, from colorful textiles to handmade pottery and silverwork.

Overnight in Mexico City.

After breakfast, begin your morning with a visit to the Square of the Three Cultures, a powerful symbol of Mexico’s identity that blends the pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern eras. Here you’ll see the remains of the Aztec city of Tlatelolco, the colonial-era church, and the modern buildings that together narrate Mexico’s complex history.

Continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Latin America. Admire the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, believed to have appeared miraculously on Juan Diego’s cloak, and visit the old and new basilicas at the foot of Tepeyac Hill.

Return to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure to relax or continue exploring Mexico City on your own.

Overnight in Mexico City.

After breakfast, travel to the southern part of Mexico City for an unforgettable cultural immersion in the heart of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin with a visit to a local family home, where you’ll learn about the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) — one of Mexico’s most cherished traditions celebrated on November 2nd. Discover the symbolism of the altars and offerings, each element representing love, remembrance, and connection between the living and the departed.

Next, continue to the Nuevo Nativitas Pier, famously known as the “Place of Flowers.” This vibrant area is filled with color, music, and life. Here, you’ll see the chinampas, ingenious floating gardens developed by the ancient Xochimilca people, an agricultural technique that transformed the region’s wetlands into fertile farmland.

Enjoy a traditional boat ride through the scenic canals, gliding past floating flower markets, mariachi bands, and families celebrating this timeless cultural ritual.

Conclude your day with a visit to the town of San Antonio Tecomitl, where you’ll walk among the cemetery’s beautifully decorated graves. Admire the earth sculptures and marigold (cempasúchil) flowers, symbols of life and memory, that adorn the resting places of loved ones — a moving testament to Mexico’s enduring traditions.
