his unforgettable journey begins in La Paz with an airport transfer and overnight stay. From there, you’ll explore the ancient ruins of Tiwanaku and the Puma Punku temple, before enjoying a guided city tour of La Paz—including the colorful Witches’ Market, the surreal Valley of the Moon, and a scenic ride on the world’s highest urban cable car. Next, a short flight takes you to Uyuni, where you’ll discover the famous train cemetery, walk across the dazzling Uyuni Salt Flats, and admire the giant cacti of Incahuasi Island. Along the way, you’ll enjoy traditional meals and unique landscapes.

Itineraries Of The Day

Upon arrival at La Paz Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight in La Paz

After breakfast, set out on a road trip to the legendary Tiwanaku archaeological site, known as the Cradle of American Civilization. Explore the site museum, the Akapana Pyramid, Kalasasaya Temple, the Gate of the Sun, the Fraile and Ponce monoliths, and the semi-subterranean temple. You’ll also visit the impressive Puma Punku temple and see local crafts and pottery.

In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of La Paz: discover the main square “Pedro Domingo Murillo,” the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress, and the Government Palace (exterior). Visit the Precious Metals Museum, admire the snow-capped Illimani mountain from the Killi Killi viewpoint, and explore the surreal Valley of the Moon. A scenic cable car ride offers stunning views before ending the day at the colorful Witches’ Market, where you can browse ritual items and offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth).

Overnight in La Paz.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Uyuni. Upon arrival, head to the city center to begin your tour. Highlights include the train cemetery, the artisan market in Colchani, the striking salt mounds and saltwater springs, the Dakar Rally monument, the colorful World Flags plaza, and the fascinating salt hotel.

Enjoy lunch either at the Salt Museum Restaurant or with a picnic on the salt flat, surrounded by endless white landscapes. Continue to Incahuasi Island, home to giant cacti and offering panoramic views of the Uyuni Salt Flats—perfect for capturing incredible photos and unforgettable memories.

Return to town and transfer to your hotel.
