Today, drive east to Strabourg including a stop in Metz, a three thousand year old city that is renowned for its beautiful gardens.
Continue to Strasbourg, one of Europe’s most attractive cities. Thanks to the richness and sheer density of its heritage sites, the entire town centre has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strasbourg is definitely well worth a visit to discover its history, its cuisine and its unique atmosphere.
Visit the monumental cathedral featuring carvings as delicate as any piece of lacework and the Petite France quarter which is the most picturesque district of the old town. Fishermen, millers and tanners once lived and worked in this part of town where the streets have been built level with the waterways

Drive south to Colmar and experience a full day guided excursion to the Alsace wine road.

The village is typical of those to be found along the Wine Route, with its attractive old houses, charming narrow streets and its wealth of local wine producers. Miraculously spared during the last war, the village’s most distinctive feature is its tower which once separated the upper town from the lower town.
Continue to Riquewihr, offering visitors a delightful picture postcard setting, and some of the best examples of Alsatian architecture.
Stop for a wine cellar visit and tasting including local treats. Drive back to Strasbourg.
