We meet at our office at 09h00, or alternatively, we can pick you up from your B&B or hotel. The tour departs at 09h30 and takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach the summit, climbing a grand 2874 meters above sea level. Along the way, we stop at breathtaking viewpoints and the border posts.
Once at the top, we visit a living Basotho village, where our experienced mountain guide will share fascinating insights about Lesotho and its hardy mountain-dwelling people. After this cultural experience, we head to Sani Top Chalet (the highest pub in Africa) for lunch (at your own cost).
You will then be booked in at Sani Top Chalet for dinner, bed, and breakfast. If you wish to go horseback riding or enjoy a guided walk in the mountains either that afternoon or the following morning, Sani Top Chalet can make the necessary arrangements.
We meet you at Sani Top Chalet at approximately 13h30, enjoy lunch (at your own cost), and begin the descent down Sani Pass, arriving back in Underberg around 16h30.
Trip ends upon arrival in Underberg.
